I know I throw this around a lot, but this might actually be my favorite artist...definitely my favorite young artist, at the age of only 18. Cris Cab's ability to remix popular songs, in this case indie song Pumped Up Kicks by Foster the People, and a reggae feel is one of the most unique sounds currently out there. Also check out the videos for his Black and Yellow Remix, as well as his original No Hatred. Cris's originals are constantly getting better as evidenced by No Hatred. His visuals also provide a very relaxed feel, something to be desired on a Saturday afternoon such as today. While I endorse everything posted on this site, if nothing just give Black and Yellow at least a partial listen, who knows maybe you'll actually be able to hear the lyrics for once. Oh, and he's coming to New Orleans, House of Blues, October 19th, see you there.
