From Pretty Lights, "I was invited to be part of a film called ReGeneration Music Project where they asked me to fuse my style with country music. To be honest, I was skeptical at first, but I decided it could be a fun challenge...and it was. I produced 2 versions of a song... one is a dusty hip-hop style track laced with dobro and steel guitars, as well as the voices of Dr. Ralph Stanley and LeAnn Rimes and the other is a banging electro hip-hop remix of the first version. The remix isn't out just yet, but check out my hip-hop twist on old school country." In addition DJ Premier worked in collaboration with Stephen Webber, a professor and conductor at the Berklee College of Music and the rest of Berklee Symhony Orchestra to release this imaginative piece. This collaboration have quite the potential for the music business as a whole.
